I have written about Bond No. 9 many times over the years, and even had my BodyRock packaging done at the same place that they get theirs done. Many of my friends and customers have become Bond No. 9 addicts, just like me, because as you know, I strongly advocate the brands that I stand behind.
So it was natural that I'd become an actual brand ambassador. Their Bond Street store is incredible. Step foot into this wonderland and you'll immediately be transported into what looks like a fantasy world. There's tens of thousands of Swarovski crystals. The French always get it right.
And the customer service is above and beyond. Every few months, I receive an envelope filled with a wide variety of samples, which is so awesome for traveling and customizing your own blends. I now work with James Slaba, an incredibly gregarious Polish man who goes above and beyond to make sure I am happy. Today, he introduced me to a new scent and concept, called Tola Oud Oil, which retails for $300. This incredible scent is a pure oil form traditionally housed in a portable tola. This Old World way of savoring perfume is trending in the States. I have noticed more and more people wearing essential oils instead of traditional perfume. Their start-up collection of Western World tolas will leave you drooling. Currently available in three scents. The oils are definitely an investment but they are pure, travel-friendly, and James will hook you up with a plethora of delectable scents.
As Coco Chanel famously uttered: A woman who doesn't wear perfume has no future.
Perfume is like a personal signature, which is why I like to mix my own. For years, I have been creating my own scents by blending two thru three Bond scents at once. I look forward to adding more of these heavenly scents to my collection.
I've been wearing Bond No. 9 ever since my Mom introduced me to The Scent of Peace in 2009. I was awe-struck by the beautiful bottle and packaging. They do not miss a beat when it comes to details. She then gave me hers because she knew how much I loved it and I have been hooked ever since. I even wore their "I love New York" "scent to my wedding and my photographer Jordana Hazel, the founder and mastermind of Hazelnut Photography, took some really amazing photos, like this one.
